About the speaker:

As the Vice President of Client Services, Michael is responsible for the implementation, training and ongoing client services for Dolbey’s Dictation and Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) products. Prior to his return to Dolbey in 2013 he held positions as Client Executive for PwC’s Revenue Cycle practice and as Vice President of Business Development and Sales at Dallas-based PHNS, a hospital IT, Medical Records and Revenue Cycle outsourcing company. Michael spent the first decade of his professional life utilizing his degree at a company he co-founded to design, install, and train dictation, transcription, and speech recognition systems for hospitals. Local success led to a national position where he spent almost 10 years as VP of Channel Sales for Cleveland-based Dolbey.

His two personal “life” volunteer passions include finding a cure for cancer and fostering young adult career development and networking in New York’s Capital Region; and for many years has served on the boards of The College of Saint Rose and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Upstate NY/VT Chapter. He helped found the “Professional Connections” mentoring program at the college’s career center, which links soon/recent grads with professionals.

Michael is a regular speaker on industry-related topics in addition to his passions for both career-oriented and volunteer-driven networking. He’s regularly presented “Networking 101” to college seniors, “Leveraging Linked-In for Donor Development” to non-profit groups and “Leveraging Linked-In for Research and Networking” to varying groups.  He resides in East Greenbush, NY with his wife of 28 years and twin sons Carson and Cameron.
